Norcal Training Centers are centrally

located training centers promoting Orange

and Green ball play. The NTC's will host

Team Challenges, Team Tournaments, and

other Net Generation products in their

training curriculum. Norcal will compensate

coaches that agree to NTC terms/conditions.

Neighborhood Training Centers are smaller centrally

located training centers promoting Orange

and Green ball play.

Norcal Junior Leagues (NJLs) are the newly coverged

Travel and Local League product. NJL provides hundreds

of teams to play Orange and Green ball matches in a

regionally organized format finalizing at a regional championship.

New offerings at USTA Norcal are Norcal Open Series and Pro Events.

2020 Norcal Open Series are tournaments targeting our top juniors,

top college players and even professional players residing in Norcal.

Norcal Open Series is a closed tournament for Norcal Residents only.

2020 ATP & WTA Tournaments are true professional level tournaments

played at venues located in Northern California the most famous being

the Mubadalah Tournament in San Jose, CA

Innovation at USTA Norcal is in full swing with our new CORE Initiative.

CORE brings a new quality level to Coaching and Officiating.

Coaching...all coaches providing services, running tournaments, training kids and

partnering with USTA Norcal in the delivery of tennis will be required

to be (a) be Safeplay certified, (b) background checked, and (c) attend

some continuing education or industry certification to partner with USTA Norcal.

Officiating...will also be improved by providing (a) additional insurance

for our officials and referees, (b) serious changes to sportmanship rules

to eliminate bad experiences at tournaments due to actions of a few, and

(c)a significant campaign to bring more officials and referees into the game.

If you provide or assist with any USTA Norcal services; you must be Safeplay certified.
